These people tried to make the channel popular through me. These people sent me to the TV awards ceremony in my character’s outfit. Be it from the channel or from other officials, they just wanted to control me.
Talking about why she left the show, Shilpa said, ‘Even after giving everything to the show for a year, I was completely sidelined. There were a lot of misunderstandings. I looked at this experience as a lesson, it showed me the real nature of people. I had no complaints about the co-stars. Claims were being made that I had left Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain for another show. No one knew the truth.
