BJP has launched a scathing attack on former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi’s official residence being vacated in the dark of night. BJP says that if everything was as per the rules, then why was the house not vacated in broad daylight. Now political rhetoric regarding this entire incident has intensified.
BJP state spokesperson Neeraj Kumar raised questions as to why Rabri Devi was vacating the house at night. He said what was the problem in vacating the house in front of media and public during the day. Was there something that was being hidden? Neeraj Kumar alleged that government property was misused for a long time.
‘Had to leave like thieves’
Neeraj Kumar said in his statement that Lalu family cannot do any work in broad daylight, because they know that there are allegations of corruption and irregularities against them. He sarcastically asked whether it was possible that some “treasure” had been hidden, which had to be taken out quietly at night.
Why action was taken only at night even after notice?
BJP spokesperson said that when Rabri Devi received the notice to vacate the house, even after so much trouble, if the house was vacated, that too at night, secretly. He demanded that Rabri Devi should come forward and tell the public how government property was used.
Will not take away by opening the tap – Neeraj Kumar
At the end of his statement, Neeraj Kumar sarcastically said, “Take care, do not take it with the spout open.” There is intense discussion in political circles regarding this comment also. At the same time, no formal reaction has come from RJD on this statement yet, but it is believed that there may be a counterattack soon.
