Krystle D’Souza broke silence on comparison with Ayesha Khan in ‘Shararat’ song of ‘Dhurandhar’, said – ‘I feel pity for such people…’

Krystle D’Souza and Ayesha Khan have danced vigorously in Jasmine Sandlas and Madhubanti Bagchi’s song ‘Shararat’ in the film ‘Dhurandhar’ and this song has become an overnight hit. Its hook step is going viral on Instagram and choreographer Vijay Ganguly’s mother and TV actress Rupali Ganguly’s mother are also following it. Even international artist Nick Jonas has followed this trend by using this song before his show. Amidst all this, the video of this song has received millions of views on YouTube.

While many people are calling it the best dance number of the year, some netizens have started a debate on who grabbed the limelight and are comparing Krystle and Ayesha. Now, in an exclusive conversation with News18 Shosha, instead of making ‘childish’ comparisons, Krystle has emphasized on celebrating Shararat as a song that respects women like Ayesha, Jasmine and Madhubanti.

Crystal said’prank’ In What did you say on comparison with Ayesha Khan?,
Krystal said, “Four women have come together and that’s the best part about the prank. I see trolls saying, ‘She did it better than everyone else.’ But the point is not, who cares? Enjoy the song and have fun! It is very sad that in order to praise one person, another is humiliated. I feel sorry for such people. They don’t understand that everyone has their own talents and struggles. We all work hard and try to perform consistently year after year.”

Crystal further says, “To take everything away from one such comment is stupid and childish. I have seen many women making such comments. As women, the least we can do is support other women. If they cannot support, then they should remain silent. We have reached a stage in life and by making such comments, you are pushing the entire generation back by many years.”

Crystal praised Ayesha Khan fiercely
Crystal adds, “We should encourage each other and support each other. It’s a beautiful world full of supportive women. When I saw Ayesha and myself dancing on the screen and Jasmine and Madhubanti singing, I thought, ‘Wow, how much I love my world!’ In fact, she praises Ayesha a lot. “Ayesha was amazing. She’s so beautiful. She’s a great dancer. Watching her showcase her skills and letting her shine was another beautiful part of the process.”
