Wife Seema Das cried remembering the attack on her husband

While they were entering the house, the mob poured petrol on them and set them on fire. He is a person of calm nature. Live a peaceful life. He has no enmity with anyone. We have not understood the reason behind the attack.
Sister said- ‘The attack was violent’
His sister Anjana Rani said, ‘It was a violent attack. This happened at around 8:30 pm. The crowd hit him on the head. Then they poured petrol on them and set them on fire. He tried to jump into the water shouting for help.
What is the demand of the victim’s family?
The victim’s nephews said, ‘I got a call about the attack on my uncle. I reached the hospital. Police reached the spot. The matter is under investigation. My uncle’s face and hands were burnt.
The victim’s second nephew said, ‘We want an investigation into the matter. The criminals should be brought to justice. My uncle never had any enmity with anyone. He is in ICU. His condition is very serious. A blood-thirsty mob had come to him with the intention of killing.
What is the whole incident?
This incident took place in Urbhanga market of Kaneshwar Union area of Damudya in Shariatpur district. There the angry mob attacked him. Petrol was poured on them. Set fire. The local people saved him. Taken to Shariatpur Sadar Hospital. Where he is undergoing treatment. Das has a business of medicine and mobile banking. He was returning after closing his shop. Then he was attacked. According to the police, all the people involved in the attack have been identified. The investigation into his arrest is ongoing.
Dipu Chandra was murdered by a furious mob on December 18.
Earlier, Dipu Chandra Das, an employee of a garment factory in Mymensingh district, was murdered on December 18 on charges of blasphemy. After this, his dead body was hanged and burnt.
Apart from this, a separate incident was seen in Kalimohar Union of Pangsha sub district of Rajbari. In this, a Hindu youth named Amrit Mandal was beaten to death in Hosendanga village due to an alleged extortion dispute.
