He is in jail in Pakistan for the last one and a half years. His sentence has been completed, but till now no information has been revealed regarding his return to India.
This is the story of Badal alias Babu, a resident of Aligarh. One of his videos is going viral. In this, his lawyer in Pakistan has claimed that Badal has converted to Islam while in jail in Pakistan. He does not want to return to India. Badal offers namaz while staying in the barrack. He doesn’t have any kind of problem. The Pakistani lawyer has said that now prayers will be made to the Pakistani government on his behalf. Badal will be asked for permission to stay in Pakistan.
Here, Badal’s father has distributed sweets to celebrate his son’s return to the village after completing his sentence in Pakistan. He has also demanded Home Minister Amit Shah to take action regarding his son’s return home. Here, Badal’s father is very scared after the video came out. The father claims that his son cannot change his religion in any way. He hopes that his son will definitely come back home.
Where did the cross border love story begin?
Badal, son of Kripal Singh, living in village Khitkari of Barla police station of Aligarh, fell in love with Pakistani girl Sana Rani through social media one and a half years ago. The girl is from Bahauddin district of Punjab province of Pakistan. Badal became so crazy in love with the girl that he crossed the international border without documents and went to Pakistan.
Badal left home in September 2024 and has not returned since then. After a few days, the family came to know that Badal had gone to Pakistan.
Badal was chased away by girl’s family in Pakistan
Badal of Aligarh went to meet his love Sana Rani at her house and stayed for two days but then the girl’s family members chased him away. He started grazing goats at a person’s house in the same area. Seeing his language and lifestyle, the local people informed the police on the basis of suspicion and got him arrested. On 27 December 2024, local police station in-charge Anjum Shahzad took him into custody. Legal action was taken against Badal for entering Pakistan without documents. The court even sentenced him.
The lawyer says that Badal wants to live a life with Sana Rani and get married, hence he has converted to religion in jail. In the video that has been released, Badal is offering Namaz. The lawyer has also asked to write a letter of request in this regard to the Pakistan government. Will also demand that Badal be allowed to stay in Pakistan.
Badal is in the detention center
The lawyer said that Badal has completed one year of imprisonment. Due to his inability to pay the fine, he has been kept in the detention center. He has got a separate barrack. His health is good. There is no problem. Badal is sad that Rani did not come to meet him in jail even once.
