Film producer-director Subhash Ghai remains connected with his fans on social media. He often wins the hearts of fans by sharing memories, funny stories and special moments. Recently, while posting a collage of posters of several films of actor Anupam Kher, he narrated an old story, which is related to the sets of the film ‘Karma’.

Subhash Ghai wrote in his post on Instagram that he remembers well when the king of cinema Dilip Kumar was shooting his first shot with Anupam Kher on the sets of his film ‘Karma’ in 1984. In that scene, Anupam Kher was walking with him in the role of Dr. Dang. During the shooting, Dilip Sahab told Subhash Ghai, ‘This boy is a good actor and will go far.’
Referring to Anupam Kher’s 550th film, he further wrote, ‘Now Anupam Kher is starting the shooting of his 550th film ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’ and is celebrating it on the set. Very proud of his versatility, humanity and hunger to do more good than money. The filmmaker wrote for Anupam Kher in the post, ‘My friend, keep climbing the ladder of success, keep moving forward like this and always be happy. Love you.’
Anupam Kher also reacted to this post of Subhash Ghai. He wrote, ‘Thank you Subhash ji! Your contribution to my career is invaluable. My heart is full of gratitude!’ Let us tell you, the film ‘Karma’ was released in 1986, in which Dilip Kumar was in the lead role and Anupam Kher played the memorable role of villain Dr. Dang. That film made Anupam Kher an overnight star. Anupam Kher’s career spans more than four decades. He came to Mumbai in 1981 and is now going to complete 550 films.
