The name of the accused woman is said to be Chitra Bashir. About one and a half years ago, she met a young man named Babar Hussain through social media. As the conversation progressed, an illicit relationship developed between the two. Both wanted to marry each other, but the woman was already married and had three small children.
Chitra Bashir started demanding divorce from her husband. She started fighting every day. The husband asked the reason for divorce and cited the children. He asked what would be the future of the three children and who would take care of them. There were continuous disputes in the house regarding this matter.
Conspiracy to remove children from the way
Investigation revealed that the woman and her lover decided that marriage was not possible as long as there were children. After this both of them conspired to kill the three children. One day when the husband was not present at home, the woman mixed sleeping pills in the children’s food. After the children became unconscious, they were strangled to death.
After the murder, the accused tried to destroy the evidence. The bodies of the three children were taken to a deserted area and burnt and then buried there, so that no one could suspect anything. The children killed included two daughters and a son, aged between 3 and 7 years.

A few days later, the woman’s husband lodged a complaint with the police that his wife was missing along with the children. The police started investigation and conducted a search operation. During interrogation the woman was taken into custody, where she confessed to her crime. On her information, her lover Babar Hussain was also arrested.
On the behest of the accused, the police excavated the remains of children in a hilly area and recovered them. At present the interrogation of both the accused is going on. This matter has become a topic of discussion in the entire area and there is deep anger among the people.
