Agastya Nanda’s film ‘Ikkis’ is the first Hindi film to be released in theaters in the year 2026. This much awaited war drama had a good start and even on the opening weekend it showed its strength amid the storm of ‘Dhurandhar’. But still it has not been able to live up to the expectations of the audience. There was a huge decline in its collection on the 5th day of its release. How much did ‘Ikkis’ earn on the 5th day?
Agastya Nanda has debuted on the big screen with ‘Ikkis’. This is the last film of late actor Dharmendra. For this reason, there was a lot of buzz about ‘Ikkis’ before its release. However, after hitting the theaters, this film has not been able to perform well. Surprisingly, despite being released alone, Arun Khetrapal’s biopic has failed to impress the audience.

Talking about the collection of the film, ‘Ikkis’ collected Rs 7 crore on the first day of release, Rs 3.5 crore on the second day, Rs 4.65 crore on the third day and Rs 5 crore on the fourth day. There has been a significant decline in the earnings of this film on the fifth day.

  • With this the total collection of the film has become Rs 21.50 crore.

‘Ikkis’ vs ‘Dhurandhar’
Even on the fifth Monday after its release, Aditya Dhar’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ earned more than ‘Ikkis’. This espionage thriller earned Rs 4.5 crore at the box office on its 32nd day (January 5, 2026). After which its total earning in India was Rs 776.75 crore. Whereas the total collection of 5 days of twenty-one has reached 21.50 crores.

Apart from Agastya Nanda, the film, directed by Sriram Raghavan, also stars late veteran actor Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, Simar Bhatia, Sikandar Kher and Vivaan Shah. The film is based on the life of 2nd Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, awarded the Paramvir Chakra (posthumously), who was martyred in the 1971 India-Pakistan war. This film is also the last film of veteran Hindi cinema actor Dharmendra and it hit the theaters on January 1, 2026.
