Krystle D’Souza said on replacing Tamannaah Bhatia in ‘Shararat’, ‘Don’t tear others down to lift someone up’

Recently, news had spread that Tamannaah Bhatia was the first choice for Jasmine Sandlas of the film ‘Dhurandhar’ and Madhubanti Bagchi’s dance number ‘Shararat’. There was a lot of stir on social media after this news. Actress Krystle D’Souza, who performed in this song, has now reacted to these claims and has also strongly criticized the culture of pitting women against each other.

What did Krystle say about Tamannaah Bhatia?
During an interview with Freepress Journal, Krystle told that she feels that Tamannaah could also have played this song well. Krystal said, “Honestly, I saw it and I thought she could have killed it in her own style. She would have made it her own and, you know, sometimes what’s written is what it is. You can’t change anything like that. Whether she was given the chance or not, I’m sure she would have nailed it. I mean, there’s no way she wouldn’t have done it. And if Ayesha was in this song alone, too, So she would have made it even better. If I was alone, I would have made it even better.

‘Don’t tear others down to lift someone up’
Krystle further added, “So, I will never underestimate the hard work of any hard-working, self-made, persistent person who is willing to try. I think she is doing great things. She will do even greater things, and this is our time and we are working and we will do even greater things. As I have always said, there is enough opportunity for everyone.

Everyone should shine like Ranveer Singh, let us also shine. There is no need to bring others down to lift someone up. I don’t know how many times I have to say this. But to lift someone up, please don’t break someone else. Because you don’t know how it can affect someone mentally.” Let us tell you that Shararat is a dance number from Aditya Dhar’s new film Dhurandhar, which has been filmed on Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s connection with ‘Dhurandhar’
A few days ago, choreographer Vijay Ganguly surprised everyone by revealing that Tamannaah Bhatia was considered the first choice for the dance number Shararat from ‘Dhurandhar’. However, she later clarified that the actress was never ‘rejected’ for the song, because she was not seriously considered for the song. Speaking to Filmygyan, the song’s choreographer Vijay Ganguly told that he had considered Tamanna for the song, but director Aditya felt that two dancers would be better for the song, and ultimately he chose Ayesha and Krystle.
