India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval does not use mobile phones and internet. He himself gave information about this. He attended the inauguration of Vikas Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026. During this, he addressed the young participants who came to the session. The program was taking place in Bharat Mandapam.
When the question and answer session was going on during the session, a question was asked about his keeping a mobile phone and not using the internet. During this he said, ‘I don’t even use the phone. Apart from this, I talk to family and people from other countries, that too when it is very important to talk.
Doval said, ‘This is how I manage my work. There are many other methods of communication. Some additional methods also have to be adopted. People have less information about this.
Which batch IPS officer is Ajit Doval?
Ajit Doval is the National Security Advisor of India. He is the fifth person to hold this post. He is a retired Indian police officer of Kerala cadre. He has played an important role in intelligence, eternal security and anti-terrorism activities for decades. He was born in Uttarakhand in the year 1945. He is an IPS officer of 1968 batch. He has been honored with Kirti Chakra at the youngest age.
Doval is the youngest police officer to receive this Chakra. During his career, he has worked extensively on counter-insurgency operations in Mizoram, Punjab and North East. He was involved in handling the Doklam standoff and deciding the strategy regarding India’s security. He was among the officials who spoke during the IC-814 hijacking crisis in Kandahar in 1999. Between 1971 and 1999, he handled many aircraft hijacking cases. He was also an undercover agent in Pakistan for many years.
Last year, the government’s fact checking agency also tracked a fake Facebook account of Doval. It was through this account that a warning was issued about cyber attacks from Pakistan. Then PIB had issued a statement saying that Ajit Doval does not have any official Facebook account. The post being circulated with his name and photo is completely fabricated.
