Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani are working on the biopic of Dadasaheb Phalke. There were already reports that Aamir did not like the script of this film, so the actor had asked the director to rewrite the script. This is the reason why the film was postponed for a long time. But now the shooting of Dadasaheb Phalke’s biopic is going to start soon.
Mid-Day quoted a source as saying, ‘Hirani and Aamir agree that the film should be emotionally contemporary and also be based on the historical background. Changes are being made in the script to improve the balance of humor and seriousness. He wanted to ensure that the development of the character properly reflected Phalke’s personality. The draft will take final form by February and construction work will start by the end of March.
Aamir Khan had advised to revise the script
Earlier, Bollywood Hungama had told that Aamir Khan did not like the script of Dadasaheb Phalke’s biopic. It was written in the report – ‘Aamir Khan listened to the script of Dadasaheb Phalke from Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi. He felt that the script did not have elements suitable for theatrical release. They were hopeful that Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) and Abhijat would mix laughter, emotions and drama like always. But the script lacked comedy, which created doubts in Aamir’s mind and he asked Raju to rewrite it.
Aamir Khan’s work front
On the work front, Aamir Khan will be seen in the comedy film ‘Happy Patel’. This film starring Veer Das will be released in theaters on January 16. Apart from this, there are reports that Aamir will be seen in the sequel of 3 Idiots. Not only this, Aamir is also going to work on his dream project Mahabharata.
