Parvati had told in a podcast with ‘Hotterfly’ a few days ago that she had to romance with Dhanush during her periods. This act experience has been very painful for him. During this, Parvati told that ‘I have done a film in Tamil by doing Mariayan, on the very first day of shooting I had to romance the hero while getting drenched in water. They kept pouring water on me continuously, then I realized that I had no clothes to change.
The actress further told that she then went to the director and told him that she would have to go to the hotel to change her clothes but she was refused. After this the actress had no choice and she told the director that she was having her periods. However, even the director did not understand how to react to this.
Not only this, during this interview the actress also talked about periods being considered a taboo and told that she had to face this kind of patriarchy at home. While she was not told anything about her periods, she had to sit in a corner at home during her periods and could not even touch washed clothes. Let us tell you that ‘Mariyaan’ is a Tamil language film, in which Dhanush was in the lead role with Parvati. This film was released in the year 2013.
