In Delhi politics, allegations and counter-allegations have intensified in Aam Aadmi Party and BJP on the video of Leader of Opposition Atishi. Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta claimed in the press conference on the basis of Delhi Forensic Science Lab report that Atishi’s video has not been tampered with. The video is completely original. Whereas Aam Aadmi Party has called it a half truth and has accused BJP of instigating Sikh-Hindu riots.
Earlier, in the forensic investigation of Punjab Police, it was said that the video was tampered. Now the report from Delhi Police has made this matter more complicated. Harsh rhetoric continues between the ruling BJP and AAP.
Vijendra Gupta claims no tampering with the video
Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta said that on the demand of the opposition, the video was sent for forensic examination. According to the report, no tampering has been done in the video. Vijendra Gupta said, “This forensic report has turned milk into water. The video is absolutely correct, there was no tampering. The opposition leader has fled from the House since that day.”
AAP’s counterattack-Saurabh Bhardwaj made serious allegations
Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi state president gave a sharp reaction to Vijendra Gupta’s press conference and said, “The rat that was dug out of the mountain turned out to be a rat, that too dead. How can BJP think, AAP is aware of their every inch. Three days ago, I had told them that what will come in their report, half truths will be used.”
Saurabh Bhardwaj claimed that the forensic report of Punjab Police clearly stated that the word ‘Guru’ was not used, and the Delhi report had also said the same thing in a twisted manner. Bhardwaj alleged that the report was brought by putting pressure on Delhi government or central officials. The report did not say that the word ‘Guru’ was spoken. What words were spoken by Atishi? The forensic report is silent on this. BJP is trying to save its face with half-truths.
Announcement to expose BJP
AAP leader Bhardwaj said, “We will expose BJP by playing this video everywhere, how it is trying to incite riots between Hindus and Sikhs. The Speaker has lowered the dignity of the post, it is unfortunate. I am giving 2 days time to Kapil Mishra to go to Darbar Saheb and apologize. Get CBI, NIA investigated, tell the public, where is the word ‘Guru’ in this?”
Demand for investigation into Kapil Mishra’s video
Saurabh Bhardwaj demanded that the video which Kapil Mishra has posted on Twitter should be investigated. The forensic investigation had to reveal whether the words were said or not. But this did not happen because those words were not Atishi’s. AAP leader challenged that there is a press conference of Virendra Sachdeva, he should tell where is the word Guru?
