In today’s time, for the youth, learning to work in a government institution is no less than a big dream. If you have completed your studies in engineering, diploma or general stream and want to get job experience without written examination, then Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has brought a great opportunity for you. HAL has announced apprentice recruitment for the year 2026, in which the selection will be completely on the basis of merit. The special thing is that there will be neither any written examination nor interview.
This recruitment is very beneficial for those youth who want to strengthen their career through practical training after studies. Getting training in a reputed government institute like HAL can open new avenues of employment in future.
How many posts will be recruited?
A total of 62 apprentice posts will be filled under this recruitment of HAL. These posts are in three different categories. Which includes Engineering Graduate Apprentice, Technician (Diploma) Apprentice and General Stream Graduate Apprentice. Selected candidates will be given training for a fixed period of time, which will give them real work experience and also better understanding of the industry.
Educational qualification
The qualifications for different posts have also been fixed separately. This includes Engineering Graduate Apprentice with BE or BTech degree in the relevant branch, Diploma Apprentice with Diploma in the relevant engineering branch and General Stream Graduate Apprentice with BCom, BSc or BCA degree. The thing to note is that the candidate must have completed his/her qualification between 2021 to 2025.
how to apply?
There is no online form to be filled in HAL Apprentice Recruitment 2026, rather it will be done through walk-in interview. For this, first of all the candidate is required to register on NATS 2.0 portal. Without NATS registration, no candidate will be included in the recruitment process. After completing the registration, candidates will have to reach the training hall at HAL Barrackpur at 9 am on the scheduled date between 28th to 30th January 2026.
How will the selection be done?
The biggest feature of this recruitment is that there will be no written examination or interview. Selection will be done entirely on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the educational qualification of the candidate. Accordingly, the merit list will be prepared. The list of selected candidates will be released on the official website of HAL.
necessary documents
At the time of walk-in, candidates will have to bring documents like Aadhar Card, 10th class certificate, degree or diploma certificate, mark sheets of all semesters, passport size photograph and caste certificate (if applicable). All documents will be verified on the spot.
