National Herald Case: The Congress has targeted the central government after the ED filed a charge sheet in the alleged National Herald Money Laundering case against Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and others in the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi. Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal said, “The law is being misused since 2014. If it continues, the basis of democracy will be destroyed.”

Kapil Sibal said, “AGL or company has not filed a complaint. His (BJP) intention is to implicate the Congress and a particular family. Sending ED for investigation, threatening civil servants in other states … There are many more issues in the country, but there is no talk on them. What is the problem with the Gandhi family?”
Court will hear on 25 April
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has filed a charge sheet against Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Rajya Sabha MP Sonia Gandhi and Overseas Congress President Sam Pitroda in the National Herald case. The case will be heard on 25 April 2025. The Congress accused the central government of doing so as a sense of revenge.
Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, “There is nothing new in the process that is going on about the National Herald. Even when this case started, we had clarified that it is a very strange case, because it has been started without a single rupee transfer. The old property was made to manage.
