‘Mahabharat’ is actor Aamir Khan’s dream project. He wants to make this film. However, for this Aamir Khan wants to work with proper preparation. Aamir recently said in an interview that he does not want to do bad work regarding this.
Talking to News 18, Aamir Khan said that Mahabharata is very important for Indians. He said, ‘This is my dream. Let’s see whether this becomes reality one day or not. I want to make this film, but it is a big responsibility. Indians are very connected to it. It’s in our blood. I don’t think there is any Indian who has not read Bhagwat Geeta. There will be very few such people. Must have heard about it from your grandmother.
‘Mahabharata making is a big responsibility’
Aamir Khan said, ‘Making a film on such a topic which is so important for Indians. So this is a huge responsibility. I often say this, ‘You can disappoint Mahabharata, Mahabharata will never disappoint you. If you do a bad job, you will screw it up. I want that if I ever make this film, I should make it in such a way that all Indians feel really proud.
He further said that Mahabharata is the mother of all Hollywood fantasies. He said, ‘For so many years we have seen so many Hollywood films which have been great entertainers. Like Avatar. The world has seen it. But Mahabharata is the mother of all. So I think Indians should be proud of this. I’m taking my time because I want to make sure it’s done right.
On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in the film Sitare Zameen Par. This film was a hit.
