Board exams will start from 7th February
CBSE class 10th and 12th board exams are scheduled to start from 17 February 2026. In such a situation, it is believed that the admit cards of regular students will be issued about five to six days before the commencement of the examination. What information will be there in the admit card
The name of the student, roll number, address of the examination centre, subject wise examination date, photo and important instructions are recorded on the admit card. Students are advised to check all this information carefully as soon as they receive the admit card.
If you find a mistake, inform the school immediately
If any mistake is seen in name, photo, subject or any other information in the admit card, the student should inform his school authorities without any delay. It is very important to improve before the exam, so that there is no problem in future.
School seal and signature mandatory
CBSE has given clear instructions that it is necessary to have the seal of the school and the signature of the Principal on the admit card. The admit card without seal and signature will not be considered valid and in such a situation the student may face difficulty in appearing in the examination.
It is important to reach the examination center on time
Students should pay special attention to the reporting time and gate closing time given on the admit card. It is strictly prohibited to carry mobile phones, smart watches, books or any kind of electronic item inside the examination centre.
Keep the admit card safe even after the exam.
Even after the board exams are over, students should keep their admit card safe. Admit card may be required at the time of viewing results, process related to mark sheet or at the time of admission in further classes.

- First of all go to the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in.
- There go to the section related to admit card related to board exam 2026.
- Login with the user ID and password given by the school.
- Class 10 or Class 12 admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download the admit card and take a clear printout.
- Get the school’s seal and signature on the printed admit card and keep it safe with you.
