Jalaj Saxena is a star bowler in Indian domestic cricket, whose lethal bowling was once again seen in the Ranji Trophy on Thursday. Jalaj, playing for Maharashtra, took 6 wickets in the first innings against Goa, due to which Goa was reduced to 209 runs in the first innings. He gave 79 runs in 34 overs.

Goa’s first wicket was taken by Jalaj Saxena, he got opener Suyyash Prabhudesai caught out by Prithvi Shaw in the eighth over. After this he bowled the other opener Manthan Khutkar. Jalaj Saxena was born on December 15, 1986 in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. This all-rounder player made his debut in first class cricket in the year 2005, in 2006 he played his first List A match. However, he could never get a place in the national team.

In the year 2021, Jalaj Saxena made his IPL debut playing for Punjab Kings, in which he bowled 3 overs but could not take any wicket. Earlier, he played in the Champions League T20 for Mumbai Indians in 2014-15, taking only 1 wicket in 3 matches.
