NEET student death case: Shambhu Hostel owner Manish Ranjan gets a shock from the court, bail plea rejected

Judicial Magistrate First Class of Patna Civil Court Kumari Prinky Priyanka heard the case on Thursday. During this, arguments from both sides were heard. After hearing the arguments, the hostel building owner Manish Kumar Ranjan has been refused bail.

Manish had filed a petition for regular bail in the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Priyanka Kumari. Priyanka Kumari rejected Manish’s regular bail plea after hearing the case.

The accused was arrested on January 15

This decision of the court is being seen as a big relief for the victim’s family. He is the only arrestee in this case. PMCH’s post mortem report came on January 14. It was said in it that sexual violence cannot be ruled out. After this he was arrested on 15 January.

The victim’s family is waiting for the report of Patna AIIMS.

The building owner of the hostel where the student lived is Manish Ranjan. However, he was directly arrested and sent to jail. On this, questions were raised by the opposition parties and the family members of the deceased as to why he is not being taken on remand and interrogated. SIT investigation is going on in this matter. How the death occurred remains a big question. The post mortem report of PMCH has been sent to Patna AIIMS for second opinion. Patna AIIMS report is awaited.

The victim’s treatment continued for 3 days after the incident.

The NEET student was found unconscious in the Shambhu hostel room on January 6. That day he was taken to Sahaj surgery for the first time. From there he was referred to Prabhat Memorial Hospital on the same day. Where his treatment continued for 3 days. When the condition did not improve, he was referred to Medanta. Where he died on the 11th.
