Maulana Shahabuddin said this statement while talking to the media in Bareilly.

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi said on the Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand controversy, “The controversy that took place in Prayagraj over the bath of Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati ji should now be ended and Shankaracharya ji should also end his displeasure.” This statement has come at a time when Shankaracharya’s health is also deteriorating. Along with this, politics has also intensified on this dispute.

There was an argument while going to take bath

Actually, this dispute took place on Mauni Amavasya when Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand was going for Amavasya bath in his palanquin and the fair officials had stopped him. After which his supporters clashed with the police and officials. Angered by this incident, Avimukteshwaranand sat on a strike outside his ashram.

In this controversy, all the opposition parties including Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav showed displeasure at the government and asked Shankaracharya to take a bath, but this controversy is now increasing continuously. Not only this, it has increased further after CM Yogi’s timely statement. Swami Avimukteshwaranand’s health has also deteriorated due to sitting on dharna in Magh Mela, while the fair authority has sent him two notices regarding the allotment of land along with the title of Shankaracharya. To which Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda gave a sharp reaction.
