Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Ankur Raj Tiwari and his cousin brother have been accused of kidnapping and brutally beating a person in Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The victim says that when he became unconscious due to the beating, they stripped him, made videos and urinated on him. After which, thinking that he was dead, they threw him on the side of the highway and ran away. After this incident, the family members created a ruckus in the police station.
This incident took place at Kotwali Khalilabad in Sant Kabir Nagar. The victim alleged that he was having a dispute with BJP MLA Ankur Raj Tiwari regarding land. There is mutual rivalry regarding the land taken in his name in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow. Due to which, when he was returning after having a feast at 11:00 in the night, the MLA along with his associates overtook him in two black Scorpio cars.
Accused of urinating and making a video by stripping
The victim said that after this they had a fight with him and forcibly took him in their car to a kiln in Sahjanwa, Gorakhpur, where he was brutally beaten. BJP MLA Ankur Tiwari was watching us through video call. When he asked us to urinate on the victim, his supporter Sawan Tiwari urinated on us.
Victim’s family made serious allegations
The victim says that he has been living with MLA Ankur Tiwari for seven-eight years, but because of this land, political distance between them developed and there was a dispute with the MLA. The victim’s mother has also made many allegations against the MLA. The mother said that the MLA beat up our son and threw him on the road. Angered by the incident, the victim’s family created a ruckus in front of the police station.
On this whole matter, Additional Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar Singh said that a case of assault has come to light over a land related dispute. The victim has given an application. The name of a public representative is being mentioned in it. The investigation of the case has been handed over to CO City. Action will be taken according to the facts that emerge in the investigation.
