There is good news for the youth who are dreaming of teaching in Delhi University. DU’s prestigious college Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD) has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor. Under this recruitment, eligible candidates will be selected on a total of 31 posts. This recruitment is being done in a total of 9 subjects including Commerce, English, Hindi, Maths, Physics. How many posts will be recruited
Under this recruitment, a total of 31 posts of Assistant Professor will be appointed in Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Delhi University. This recruitment has been done for different subjects, which includes 6 posts for Commerce subject, 3 posts for English, 5 posts for Hindi and 1 post for History. Apart from this, maximum recruitment will be done on 8 posts in Mathematics subject. 1 post has been earmarked for Physical Education, 4 posts for Physics, 2 posts for Political Science and 1 post for Sanskrit subject. All the posts are regular and selection will be done as per the rules of UGC and Delhi University.
Ability
For the post of Assistant Professor, the candidate must have a master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks. Along with this, the candidate must have passed the NET examination conducted by UGC or CSIR. However, in the subjects where NET examination is not conducted, NET is not mandatory. Apart from this, candidates holding PhD degree can also apply for this recruitment.
How much salary will you get?
In this recruitment, candidates will get a salary of Rs 57,700 per month as per Academic Pay Level-10 under the 7th Pay Commission. Apart from this, they will also get the benefit of Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA and other government allowances.
How will the selection be done?
- First of all the educational records will be checked.
- After this the research publication will be seen.
- Teaching experience will also be given weightage.
- In the final stage, selection will be done on the basis of interview.
- The selection will be completely as per the rules of UGC and Delhi University.

Candidates applying for this recruitment will have to deposit the application fee according to the category. The application fee for general category, OBC and EWS category candidates has been kept at Rs 500. Whereas no application fee will be charged from SC, ST, PWBD and all women candidates, that is, the application will be completely free for them.
