A day after Ajit Pawar was cremated in his hometown Baramati, his two sons collected his ashes from the cremation site on Friday. Ajit Pawar’s sons Parth and Jai collected the ashes. The late leader’s uncle and NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar and other family members were present during the rituals. In Hinduism, the ashes are traditionally collected the day after cremation, and later immersed in a river.
