Now the wait is about to end for lakhs of students of Bihar. Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued strict guidelines regarding Intermediate i.e. 12th examination 2026. This examination will be conducted between 2 February to 13 February 2026. This year a total of 13 lakh 17 thousand 846 students will appear in the examination. The special thing is that this time too the number of girl students is more than that of boys, which shows the changing environment of education in the state.
According to the data, 6 lakh 75 thousand 844 girl students and 6 lakh 42 thousand 2 boys will appear in the examination. Bihar Board says that this time more strictness will be taken than before to conduct the examination in a completely fair and peaceful manner.
Zero tolerance on copying
Bihar Board has said in clear words that those who cheat will not be spared under any circumstances. Strict monitoring will be maintained at the examination centres, so that no student can take the examination in a wrong manner. The board has claimed that this time “even Parinda will not be able to hit” the examination centres.
CCTV cameras have been installed at every examination center and videographers have also been deployed. Apart from this, Section 163 will remain in force within a radius of 200 meters of the examination centre, so that there is no crowd or disorder of any kind during the examination.
Pay special attention to time
Bihar Board has given a special warning to the students regarding the timing of the examination. If any student reaches the examination center late, he/she will not be allowed to enter. No second chance will be given after the gate is closed.
The first shift examination will start from 9:30 am. For this, students will be allowed to enter the center from 8:30 am, but the gate will be closed at 9:00 am. This means that even a delay of just one minute can prove costly.
The second shift exam will be conducted one hour earlier than the first. This exam will now start at 1 pm instead of 2 pm. For this, students will get admission from 12 noon. The board has clearly said that those who do not follow the time will not be given exemption under any circumstances.
Strict punishment if rules are broken
Bihar Board has adopted a very strict stance regarding discipline. If any student tries to enter forcibly after the gate is closed or enters the examination center by climbing the wall, then an FIR will be registered against him. Not only this, such a student will also be barred from appearing in the examination for the next two years. The board says that such strict steps are necessary to maintain the sanctity of the examination. Any kind of indiscipline will not be tolerated.
Mobiles and gadgets are completely banned
It is completely prohibited to take mobile phones or any electronic item to the examination center in Bihar Board Exam 2026. Frisking of students will be done twice. The first test will be done at the gate and the second test will be done before entering the class. Videography arrangements have also been made at the examination centers to keep an eye on every activity. This will ensure that no student can violate the rules.
