SBI Recruitment: Big news has come for the youth who are dreaming of making a career in the banking sector. Actually, State Bank of India has extended the last date of application for Apprentice Recruitment 2024. Whereas earlier the last date of application was June 8, now candidates will be able to apply till June 15. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 7,150 apprentice posts will be appointed across the country.
Recruitment has been done for how many posts?
According to the notification issued by SBI, a total of 7,150 apprentice posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Selected candidates will be given one year training in the bank and different departments. This recruitment is being conducted under the Apprentice Act 1961.
Who can apply?
It is mandatory for the candidate applying for this recruitment to be a graduate from any recognized university. The candidate must have completed his/her degree on or before April 1, 2026. The minimum age of the candidates applying for recruitment has been fixed at 20 years and maximum 28 years. Reserved category candidates will also be given age relaxation as per government rules.
How will the candidates be selected?
Candidates will be selected in several stages. First of all online written examination will be conducted. After this the process of local language test, document verification and medical examination will be completed. In the online examination, questions related to general and financial awareness, English language, mathematical ability and reasoning and computer aptitude will be asked. Whereas among the candidates applying for this recruitment, people of General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay Rs 300, candidates of SC, ST and PWD category will not have to pay any fee.
What will be the exam pattern?
A total of 100 questions will be asked in the online examination, for which 100 marks will be allotted, while the duration of the examination will be 60 minutes. In which there will be 25 questions of General and Financial Awareness of 25 marks. General English will also have 25 questions of 25 marks. Quantitative Aptitude will have 25 questions of 25 marks and Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude will also have 25 questions of 25 marks. The selected candidates will be given a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month during the training, however, they will not get the benefits of DA, HRA, medical facilities, pension and other allowances like the permanent employees of the bank.

How can I apply online?
- To apply online for this recruitment, the candidate will have to visit the official website of SBI, sbi.co.in/careers.
- After this you have to click on the career section.
- Then you will have to go to the career section and register.
- Now after registration, you will have to fill the necessary details and upload the documents.
- After uploading the documents, the form will have to be submitted after paying the fees.
- After submitting the form, you can now take a print out of the form and keep it.
