Preparations are being made in every district for Bihar Board Intermediate examination. The district administration is fully alert with the objective of conducting the Intermediate Annual (Theory) Examination-2026 in a fair and peaceful environment. In this sequence, under the chairmanship of District Magistrate (Nawada) Ravi Prakash, a joint briefing of the center superintendents, magistrates and police officials of all the examination centers was organized in the DIET, Nawada campus on Saturday (January 31, 2026). In the meeting, all the important aspects related to the conduct of the examination were discussed in detail and necessary guidelines were given.
The District Officer informed that the Intermediate Annual (Theory) examination will be conducted from 2 February to 13 February 2026. He clearly said that maintaining the purity and transparency of the examination is the top priority of the administration. For this, strict security and monitoring arrangements have been made at all the examination centres.
You will be able to carry only pen and admit card
Candidates will be allowed to enter the center only after intensive frisking at the entrance. Candidates will be able to enter the examination center only with their admit card and pen. There will be a complete ban on mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, any type of electronic gadgets or unwanted papers.
No entry allowed after scheduled time
The District Officer said that the entrances of all the examination centers will be closed at 9:00 am for the first shift examination and at 1:30 pm for the second shift. No candidate will be allowed to enter after the stipulated time. If any candidate tries to enter the examination center by climbing the boundary wall, through back roads or through any other unfair means, then it will be considered a serious crime and legal action will be taken against him.
He appealed to the candidates to stay away from any kind of unfair activity and take the examination without any pressure or fear. The district administration also clarified that those candidates who miss the examination due to any reason will get an opportunity to appear in the compartmental examination to be held in April, which will not have any adverse effect on their academic future.
The District Officer also directed that the teachers will again conduct intensive search of the candidates inside the examination hall. If any candidate is found with cheat sheets, mobile phone or other banned material in the examination room, then necessary action will be taken against the concerned candidate as well as the concerned teacher. Necessary information and instructions will be broadcast from time to time through public address system at all examination centers and seat planning will be clearly displayed.
Strict arrangements have also been made for the security of question papers and answer sheets related to the examination. The entire process of clearance of question papers, distribution and sealing of answer sheets will be done with videography. After the completion of the examination, the answer sheets will be duly sealed and kept safe in Vajragriha. Armed police force has been deployed for the security of Vajragriha and the key will be operated as per the prescribed protocol.
30 examination centers built in Nawada
A total of 30 examination centers have been set up in Nawada, which includes 19 in Nawada city, 4 in Warisaliganj, 2 in Hisua and 5 in Rajauli sub-division headquarters. Of these, four examination centers have been developed as model examination centres.
