Actress soundarya: In Mumbai, 17 April 2004 was a black day when Soundarya or Soumya Satyanarayana, one of the most successful actress in the South Film Industry, died in a plane crash. At the age of 31, Radha Thakur of Suryavansham said goodbye to the world. The success of the actress was that she worked in more than 100 films in 12 years. It is said that the actress was two months pregnant at the time of death.
Married to an engineer in the year 2003
Soundarya is very much liked by the audience for her work not only in South Cinema, but also in Bollywood. He played the role of Radha Thakur on the screen in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Suryavansham. Along with Hindi, Radha did many films in other languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayali. Soundarya, who did about 100 films in a 12 -year career, married an engineer in the year 2003. He had informed a film director a few days before his death and asked to take a break for a few days. But before that he died in a plane crash.
Actress received the National Film Award
Soundarya was born on 18 July 1972 in Bengaluru. His father’s name was KS Satyanarayana, who was a writer and filmmaker. Soundarya entered the world of acting in 1992 with the Kannada film ‘Ba Nana Pratiishu’. In 2002, Soundarya’s Kannada film ‘Dwipa’ came, for which she received the National Film Award. The state film award of the best actress twice may be younger, but due to a brilliant career, she will always be alive in the hearts of the audience.
Soundarya’s brother also died in the accident
Let me tell you, Soundarya was a Lady superstar, who had worked with other superstars including Amitabh Bachchan Rajinikanth, Mamuti, Mohanlal, Vishnuvardhan, Kamal Haasan. He also received the Filmfare and Nandi Awards. The actress, who made a success in the acting world, entered politics in 2004 after a year of marriage and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. It is said that a rally in the form of death took them to him. Soundarya left a flight to attend a rally held in Karimnagar, Telangana and the plane crashed shortly after. His brother Amarnath was also killed along with Soundarya in the accident.
