According to India Today report, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer ‘Alpha’ will be released in theaters in April this year. According to the report, a source said that this film is made for theaters and the team is currently completing the final shooting schedule. According to the report, the shooting of the spy film is going on as per plan. The report further states that the film has been made to provide a cinema-first experience, and hence, it will release in theaters as per the plan. This clarification comes after rumors of a direct-to-OTT release and tremendous buzz about the film.

The film was originally scheduled to release in theaters in August last year. However, the makers had planned to release it in December 2025. But it was taken further. Regarding the delay in the release of the film, the production house said that the team is working on the VFX of the film, and hence there is a delay. The makers’ statement read, “Alpha’s VFAckers need more time to present the film to the audience in the best possible way.”
