The terrorist organization Islamic State Khorasan (ISKP) has taken responsibility for the suicide attack on Shia Mosque Qaiser Khadijatul Kubra in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad on Friday (February 6) afternoon, which has been given shelter by Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI to attack India in collaboration with Baloch fighters in Balochistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement issued by ISKP’s official propaganda channel Amaq Agency, Islamic State Khorasan said that it had carried out a suicide attack on a Shia mosque yesterday because Pakistani Shia fighters are fighting against it in Syria by forming the Zainbyon organization. Along with the statement, ISKP has also released a picture of the suicide bomber with his face blurred.
Terrorist attacks have happened before too
This is not the first time that the Shia community has been attacked in Syria for fighting against ISKP. Earlier in December 2015, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, a proxy of terrorist organization Sipah-e-Sahaba, had carried out a suicide attack on the Shia community in Parachinar of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in which 25 Shias were killed and 30 were injured. Even at that time, Sipah-e-Sahaba in the name of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi had threatened that if the people of Pakistani Shia community did not stop fighting ISKP on behalf of Zainbyon by going to Syria and Iraq, then even more painful attacks would be carried out on them.
What is Sipah-e-Mohammed?
Pakistani Shias had formed a terrorist organization named Sipah-e-Mohammad Pakistan in the year 1994 to fight the terrorist organization Sipah-e-Sahaba, which used to attack the big commanders of Sipah-e-Sahaba and its proxy Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, who attack Shia people, and target the Sunni Muslims who help Sipah-e-Sahaba. Pakistan had banned Sipah-e-Sahab in 2002, but till 2010, the terrorist organization of Pakistani Shia community, Sipah-e-Mohammad Pakistan, remained strongly active in different provinces of Pakistan. This organization had the help of Iran and the Republic Guards of Iran (IRGC) used to provide training and money to these Shia terrorists.
What is the role of Iran?
In 2012, at the behest of Iran, more than 2 thousand fighters of Shia terrorist organization Sipah-e-Mohammad Pakistan were sent to Syria and Iraq to fight against Islamic State and America. Also, in Syria and Iraq, this new organization was named Liwa Zainbyon or Lashkar-e-Zainbyon. There were more than 2 thousand terrorists in Lashkar-e-Zainbayon who worked for the Shia terrorist organization Sipah-e-Mohammad Pakistan in Pakistan against Sipah-e-Sahaba in Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while around 1,000 such fighters were also trained by Iran to join Lashkar-e-Zainbyon who were Pakistani Shias but were living illegally in Iran.
Currently, more than 5 thousand terrorists work in Liwa Zainbyon or Lashkar-e-Zainbyon. Their chief at present is Abid Hussain Turi alias Tehran Turi who lives in Upper Kurram of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Also, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is a clash every day between the boys of Abid Hussain Turi alias Tehran Turi and the fighters of Sipah-e-Sahaba.
Where is ISKP active in Pakistan?
Islamic State Khorasan (ISKP) in Pakistan is active and has bases in Mashtung area of ​​Balochistan and Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. ISKP is operated in Balochistan by its chief Shahab Al Muzahir in collaboration with ISI asset, former terrorist commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba and chief of Musallah Difa Tanzeem, Mir Shafiq Mengal. Besides, Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi are also part of this network. The main group of ISKP, operating from Mashtung in Balochistan, carries out terrorist attacks in Central Asia and South Asia including Afghanistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and targets Baloch fighters and Shia population of Pakistan.
