A major accident occurred when the Tsunami swing broke at the ongoing Surajkund fair in Faridabad. One inspector died in this accident, while many people are reported to be injured. Meanwhile, State Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has expressed grief over the accident. CM has given his response through social media post.

CM Nayab Singh Saini wrote in a tweet on social media platform X that he is extremely saddened by the accident that took place during the Surajkund fair organized in Faridabad. I express my deepest condolences to the family of the person who lost his life in this accident.

CM said that necessary guidelines have been issued to the concerned authorities for proper and immediate treatment of the injured people. The Haryana government is engaged in providing all possible assistance to the injured and their families with full promptness and sensitivity.

DC gave this information on the incident

On this accident, DC Ayush Sinha said that the accident occurred due to breakage of swing in Suraj area on Saturday (February 7) at around 6:15 pm. 13 people have been injured in this. Nine seriously injured people were immediately taken to Supreme Hospital by ambulance.

Apart from this, 4 have been admitted to DK Hospital, where they are being treated. He said that in a very unfortunate incident, a police personnel, an inspector, who tried to save the people, got seriously injured and is currently undergoing treatment. Further information is being ascertained in the case. Orders have been given to investigate the accident. Forensic team is present on the spot. Evidence is being collected from the spot so that the reason behind the accident can be known.
