On Saturday, Maratha Royals won the title of Mumbai T20 League by defeating ARCS Andheri team. Royals have become the first team to defend their title. A case of fight between the players has come to light during this title clash. The videos of this clash are going viral on social media.
Batting first, Maratha Royals team scored 154 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Andheri team could score only 146 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 8 runs.

Actually this matter is of the 19th over of the second innings. Andheri team had to score 25 runs in the last 2 overs to win. Then, on the second ball of the 19th over, Gaurav Jathar hit a powerful six, but on the very next ball, Irfan Umair got him out LBW.
The Royals were celebrating, but Gaurav Jathar looked disappointed, who had an argument with fast bowler Tushar Deshpande. The players and umpires intervened, but the matter did not rest here.
After getting out, when Gaurav Jathar reached near the dugout, he collided with Rohan Raje who was fielding there. There was a heated argument between the two; apart from the fourth umpire, the entire team of Andheri and Royals came there to intervene.

Maratha Royals defeated Mumbai Falcons in the final of Mumbai T20 League played last year. In the final of 2026, it defeated Andheri team by 8 runs and captured the trophy for the second consecutive time. Chinmay Rajesh’s inning of 61 runs made a valuable contribution to the historic victory of Maratha Royals. In bowling especially, Tushar Deshpande and Aditya Dhumal took 2-2 wickets and also bowled tightly.
