With the statement of Janata Unnayan Party (JUP) President and suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir, once again a new uproar has started not only in the politics of Bengal but also in the country. Humayun Kabir has announced that the construction work of Babri Masjid will be started on February 11 at 10 am with the reading of the Quran by 1,200 people. Formal construction work will start at 12 noon.
According to the report of IANS, Humayun Kabir told that the mosque will be completed within 2 years. He said that when Ram temple was built, we did not oppose it. The foundation of Ram temple was also laid in Baharampur, no one opposed it. The Constitution gives me the right to take decisions on matters related to my religion. No obstacle can stop me and if any obstacle comes I will face it.
‘This is not Ayodhya or Uttar Pradesh, this is Bengal’
Suspended TMC MLA and Janata Unnayan Party Chairman Humayun Kabir said in Murshidabad that all these things do not matter to me. This is not Ayodhya and Uttar Pradesh. This is the Indian state of West Bengal and one of those districts is Murshidabad. He said that at one time Bengal, Bihar, Odisha used to run through this Murshidabad. Lord Clive used to move from here during the British Raj. After independence our capital became Kolkata. Everyone knows this, we are going to bring back the old traditions of our Murshidabad.
Hindu organizations protested in Lucknow
JUP President Humayun Kabir said that Babri Yatra will take place on 12th February only. The total distance of the journey is 235 kilometers and it will end at Itahar at night. On the other hand, protests have started regarding this. In Lucknow, Hindu organizations have put up hoardings against Babri. Slogans are written in the hoardings that Babri will be demolished again and let’s go to Murshidabad on 10th February.
