The 7th match of the tournament is being played between Italy and Scotland on Monday (09 February) at Eden Garden, Kolkata. This is Italy’s first match in the tournament and in the very first match the team suffered a big shock in the form of captain Wayne Madsen.
Actually, in the ongoing match against Scotland, the captain of Italy is out due to injury. His shoulder got dislocated while fielding. Wayne Madsen got injured while fielding in the fourth over of the match, after which he left the field.

He will not take further part in this match. Now it will be interesting to see whether he is able to come back for the second match after getting injured in the first match or not. Scotland defeated in the first innings
It is noteworthy that in the match, Italy won the toss and decided to bowl. There was some explosive batting from the Scotland team who came out to bat first. The team scored 207 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Opener George Munsey played the biggest innings for the team and scored 84 runs in 54 balls with the help of 13 fours and 2 sixes.
