PSEB Scholarship 2026: Punjab School Education Board has issued guidelines related to scholarship scheme for students who perform well in the board examinations of the year 2026. The board has issued instructions to the schools that the applications of the eligible students should be verified and sent to the concerned office within the stipulated time. So that students can get the benefits of the scheme at the right time.
Who will get benefit in this scheme?
Under this scheme, financial assistance will be given to the students who secure a place in the merit list of the board examination. Students of Jalandhar district registered strong presence
This year a total of 36 students from Jalandhar district have made it to the merit list. These include 7 students of class 12th, 17 students of class 10th and 12 students of class 8th. Which has given a new identity to the district.
8th class students will get scholarship for two consecutive years
According to the board, students included in the merit list of class 8th will be given a scholarship of Rs 100 per month for their studies in classes 9th and 10th. This amount will be given for two consecutive years. However, students will have to re-submit the required documents and forms every year.

Special attention will have to be paid to these rules
Students availing the scholarship will have to consistently demonstrate good academic performance and satisfactory behaviour. The school administration will also have to certify that the student has a disciplined record. If a student leaves his studies midway or is not successful in the annual examination, his scholarship will be stopped.
Rules for 12th class students
The board has implemented separate rules for 12th students. If a student is already availing the benefit of any other government scholarship scheme, then he will not be eligible for this scheme. The government says. Only one scholarship can be availed at a time.
