Usha Uthup had sung the song Rambha Ho in the film Armaan released in 1981 which became iconic. Now the same song has been recreated in Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar. Now singer Usha Uthup has given her reaction on this. Rambha Ho song was reimagined by Shashwat Sachdev for the film Dhurandhar and it is sung by Madhubanti Bagji.
However, Usha Uthup has no problem with song recreation. She says that she is very happy to see that this song has made a comeback and has reached the new generation audience. Usha Uthup while talking to Radio Nasha said, ‘Someone had sent me the link of the recreated version of Rambha Ho from Dhurandhar, then I said, ‘Wow! What is this! This is fantastic.’

I am not one of those people who feel bad that someone else has sung this song. I am very happy.’ He further said, ‘It is amazing that it has made such a strong comeback and yes, Madhubanti has sung it very well. However, Usha also told that the makers did not approach her for the recreated version.’
Usha Uthup praised singer Madhubanti in another interview and said that she has done a very good job. Singer said, ‘Madhubanti has done a wonderful job. We also made a reel together at Trincas (nightclub in Kolkata), which was amazing. I have always believed that a song is bigger than the singer. Whatever Rambha sings, it will be a hit.
Usha Uthup said that she has been performing Rambha Ho in every show for years and the remake has given new energy and popularity to the song. Who would have thought really? In every show of mine, anyway, I have to sing Rambha Ho. But now, it is with an energy and I thank Dhurandhar for making this song so popular. I don’t know how many million hits Rambha Ho gets every second on what Gen-Z calls Insta. This is amazing.
