Wayne Madsen Injured Against Scotland: Italy has made its debut in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. Italy had to face defeat against Scotland in its very first match at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata. In this match, Scotland batted first and Italy captain Wayne Madsen got injured in the beginning. He dived to stop George Munsey’s shot in the fourth over. The ball did not stop, but Madsen injured himself.
Wayne Madsen’s shoulder dislocated
While trying to block George Munsey’s shot, Wayne Madsen fell on his left shoulder, due to which his shoulder was dislocated. After this injury, he was seen in a lot of pain. The physio came and checked him and Madsen left the field. After the 9th over, the update came that Madsen would not be able to take further part in this match and that is why Madsen did not even come out to bat.
