Pando Tree World Larget Living Organism Originated from a Single Seed at End of the Last Ice Age

This tree is also called the largest living creature in the world, which is found in Fishlak National Forest in Utah, USA.

After examining hundreds of samples here, scientists have discovered that it is spread over 106 acres and must have started long before the end of the ice age.

Pando has been attracting the attention of scientists due to its size long back, some people believe that it is the biggest creature on earth.

47,000 different trees have been born from a root of coating aspen i.e. a root of pandos, which have been made the entire forest so far.

But all these are of the same genetic heritage and their roots are connected to each other.

This tree is also unique in itself because its chromosome triplets do not get the genome with other members of its species.

Because of this, the breeding of the plant is limited to asexual clones and they keep their roots easily in the environment.
