Within just three days of the visit of India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Canada put Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu’s Sikh for Justice (SFJ) Forum in the terrorist category. Coming under terrorist category in Canada means that all the assets of SFJ will be confiscated and any kind of activities will be completely banned.
Was carrying out anti-India activities from Canada
For the last few years, SFJ was engaged in anti-India activities in Canada and from time to time, it was engaged in issuing threats including derogatory words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former PM Indira Gandhi. Ajit Doval visited Canada last week (6-7 February) and met his counterpart. In the meeting, both the countries had agreed that each other’s liaison officers would be deployed in the security and law and order agencies of India and Canada.
Consensus reached on India-Canada Common Action Plan
NSA Ajit Doval on Saturday (7 February 2026) met Natalie G., Deputy Secretary to the Prime Minister of Canada and National Security and Intelligence Advisor. Had met Drouin. Both sides reviewed the progress of ongoing initiatives for the security of their nations and citizens. They agreed to a Common Action Plan to guide future cooperation on national security and law enforcement matters.
The move aims to improve communication channels and rapidly exchange information on shared threats, including drug trafficking, particularly fentanyl precursors, and the activities of transnational organized crime networks. The two officials also pledged to formalize cooperation in cyber security, including policy coordination and exchange of information on cyber threats.
FIR registered against Khalistani terrorist Pannu in Delhi
A case was registered against Sikh for Justice chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu for conspiring to create unrest in Delhi before January 26, 2026. This action was taken after Pannu released a video on social media.
