Yash Raj Films’ ‘Mardaani 3’ is performing well at the box office. The film was released in theaters on January 31 and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. Then, due to strong word of mouth, it became successful at the box office. Even before Sunny Deol’s big film Border 2, this cop thriller is earning crores of rupees every day. After making huge profits in the first week, it is now printing a lot of notes in the second week also. Although there was a slowdown in its earnings on the second Monday, there was a surge in its collections on the 12th day of its release i.e. the third Tuesday.

Will ‘Mardaani 3’ be able to break the record of ‘Mardaani 2’?
‘Mardaani 3’ has officially surpassed the lifetime collection of Mardaani (2014) by Rs 36 crore. However, it is still behind beating Mardaani 2’s lifetime collection of Rs 47.35 crores and is also behind in recovering its budget of Rs 60 crores. However, it is inches away from becoming Rs 40 crore. It is expected that the film will achieve this feat on the second Wednesday. Now it remains to be seen whether it will be able to beat Mardaani 2 or not.
Mardaani 3 will now have to compete with Shahid Kapoor’s O’ Romeo in the coming weekend. Which means the film will lose most of its showcasing. If it survives the new releases, the film will be in theaters for approx. It will earn a net earning of Rs 45-47 crores, which will be equal to the lifetime earning of Mardaani 2 in the country. The worldwide earning of Mardaani 3 in theaters is expected to be around Rs 65 crores by the end of it.
