In this match, the Indian team has also made its best powerplay score in the T20 World Cup. Ishan Kishan had completed his half-century within the powerplay itself. He had completed fifty in just 20 balls.

Ishaan-Sanju’s stormy start
Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson gave a stormy start to the Indian team in this match. Samson was out after scoring only 22 runs, but he scored these 22 runs in just 8 balls. Whereas Ishan Kishan played an explosive inning of 61 runs in 24 balls. In this innings he hit 6 fours and 5 sixes. He completed his half-century in 20 balls in the match.
Ishan Kishan is the third Indian batsman to have completed a half-century in the powerplay in the T20 World Cup. Before him, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul had done this.
