Film producer-director Vikram Bhatt and his wife were arrested by Rajasthan Police in December 2025 in a fraud case worth crores. After which the hearing of this case took place on Friday i.e. today. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has given relief to Vikram Bhatt’s wife Shwetambari Soni Bhatt and has given its decision to release her on interim bail. So director Vikram Bhatt has still been ordered to remain in jail.
Vikram Bhatt will remain in jail
Vikram Bhatt and Shwetambari were arrested on December 7 in the alleged fraud case. This case is of fraud of Rs 30 crore. After his arrest, Rajasthan High Court had refused to grant him bail. Now the Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Shwetambari. So Vikram Bhatt will remain in jail for the time being. The next hearing of this case is going to be held on February 18. Then it is possible that Vikram may also get bail.

Let us tell you that Vikram Bhatt and his wife Shwetambari Soni Bhatt were lodged in Udaipur Central Jail since December 7. Actually, a person named Ajay Murdiya had filed a complaint against Vikram Bhatt and his wife. In this complaint, Ajay alleged that Vikram Bhatt and his wife had asked him to invest more than Rs 30 crore in the biopic of his late wife and had also asked him about huge profits. But the director neither made a biopic nor was there any talk on it. In such a situation, Ajay filed a case against the couple in Rajasthan. After which Rajasthan Police arrested Vikram Bhatt and his wife from Mumbai.
