Five devotees died tragically in a horrific road accident on National Highway-52 in Chaksu area of Jaipur Rural on Friday morning. The accident occurred when a car filled with devotees collided with a trailer. The collision was so severe that the car was badly damaged and four people in it died on the spot, while the fifth devotee died on the way to the hospital.
All the deceased devotees are said to be residents of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. He was coming to visit the famous Khatu Shyam temple located in Sikar district of Rajasthan. According to the information, the devotees had visited Mahakal in Ujjain a day earlier and left for Khatu Shyam from there. This accident happened just some distance before the temple.

According to preliminary information, the vehicle went out of control due to the driver dozing off and rammed directly into the trailer. Local people immediately informed the police and helped take the injured to the hospital but the lives of the five could not be saved. After this accident, there was a long jam on National Highway-52, due to which traffic was affected.

On receiving the information, the local police immediately reached the spot and smoothened the traffic by removing the accident vehicle from the highway. After this accident, there was a traffic jam on the road for some time, which was controlled by the police after a lot of effort. The police took possession of all the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Officials said that the reasons for the incident are being investigated and necessary legal action is being taken in the matter.
