India vs Pakistan Highlights: India has defeated Pakistan by 61 runs. Team India’s bowlers bundled out the Pakistan team for 114 runs. In the match played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the Indian team, batting first, had scored 175 runs, in reply the Pakistan team could score only 114 runs. Ishan Kishan played the match-winning innings of 77 runs, after which Axar Patel and all other bowlers performed strongly.
This is the eighth time in the history of T20 World Cup that India defeated Pakistan team. In this match, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first. Abhishek Sharma was out without opening the account, but Ishan Kishan created havoc and scored a stormy half-century. He played an inning of 77 runs in 40 balls. While captain Suryakumar Yadav scored 32 runs, in the last overs, Rinku Singh and Shivam Dubey batted in a dynamic manner and took India beyond 170.
Pakistan lost its strength
Pakistan batsmen could not stand against the tight bowling of India. Sahibzada Farhan was dismissed by Hardik Pandya in the very first over. After that, in the very next over, Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc on Pakistani batting. Bumrah broke the back of Pakistani batting by dismissing Sam Ayub and Salman Agha in the same over.
Babar Azam once again proved that he does not deserve a place in the T20 team. Babar scored only 5 runs. Usman Khan scored 44 runs, while Shaheen Afridi returned unbeaten after scoring 23 runs. The condition of Pakistan team was so bad that apart from Usman and Shaheen, none of the batsmen of Pakistan team could even touch the mark of 20 runs.
