Indian cricketer gave a gift
After this, Kumar Sangakkara revealed in an interview that this helmet of Team India was gifted to him by Yashasvi Jaiswal. Yashasvi played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026, whose coach was Sangakkara. Yashasvi joined the RR team in 2020, there is a good bond between Jaiswal and Sangakkara. While talking about Yashasvi in the last edition of IPL, Sangakkara had praised his art of scoring runs in any situation.

Talking about Kumar Sangakkara, he joined Rajasthan Royals in 2021, he was appointed as Director of Cricket. After the departure of Rahul Dravid, RR had appointed Sangakkara as the head coach for the last edition.
