Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that before Holi, every family taking advantage of the Ujjwala scheme will be provided a free cylinder by the government. CM Yogi has announced this gift not only for Holi but also for Diwali.
CM Yogi Adityanath made this announcement in the program of distribution of gas cylinder refill subsidy to Ujjwala families under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. CM Yogi in Lucknow said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already made arrangements that this year 9 cylinders will be given at subsidized rates. That means whoever is buying the cylinder, his connection is free. After this, when you go to get a new cylinder, Rs 335.40 per refill is returned to your account. This also stops misuse and you get back a major part of your expenditure.”
‘Holi will be celebrated respectfully in every person’s house’- Yogi Adityanath
CM Yogi said, “The Prime Minister himself is giving you subsidy on 9 cylinders. Apart from this, the UP government has decided that before Diwali and Holi, we will provide one filled cylinder to every family. Such events are being organized across the state, so that before Holi, every person can help in increasing the excitement and enthusiasm manifold by fulfilling the energy requirement of their home in a respectable manner.”
CM Yogi’s big statement on women’s safety
CM Yogi further said, “In UP, the government is working for women’s safety, women’s self-reliance and their respect. Now you must have seen, our government is going to take a lot of steps. This time, decisions have been taken in the budget. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak started the vaccination program for 14 year old girls for the problem related to cervical cancer. If our daughter is safe, our family will be safe. Vaccination of Rs 2100 will cost Rs 300. It is being made available for Rs. We are also making arrangements to take it for free.
Yogi Adityanath’s attack on previous governments
CM Yogi said that when the government is sensitive, then it thinks about the society. What used to happen earlier? Earlier people used to fight in the name of caste but worked only for their families. His development was limited to his family only. He wanted everything to come in the family. The family members left no stone unturned to conquer the state. For us, the 25 crore people of UP are our family and we have to work for their safety and respect.
