Bilaspur news: An FIR has been lodged at Apollo Hospital in Bilaspur in the death case of Pt Rajendra Shukla, former president of United Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Rajendra Shukla’s son alleges that his father died due to treatment of fake doctor Narendra John Cam in Madhya Pradesh. In this case, FIR has also been registered on fake doctor Narendra John Cam.

It has been alleged that seven heart patients died in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh due to the treatment of a doctor. After which Dr. Narendra John has been arrested before Damoh. Now a case has also been registered at Apollo Hospital in Bilaspur.

15 operations in two and a half months, 7 died

In fact, in the Mission Hospital in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, a fake doctor performed the operation of 15 heart patients in just two and a half months in the name of Dr. N John Cam, a cardiologist at London. Out of which 7 patients died.

The fake doctor was revealed when the family of a patient accused the doctor of negligence and the matter reached the National Human Rights Commission. After this, on April 4, the matter came into the limelight when Priyanka Act, Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, posted a post on social media regarding fake doctor.

Chhattisgarh connection of fake doctor in investigation

When there was an investigation in the case of the death of the patients, the Chhattisgarh connection of fake doctor Narendra Vikramaditya alias John Cam also came to light. Investigation revealed that fake doctor Narendra John Cam had also treated the patient at Apollo Hospital in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. During this time, many patients have died in Chhattisgarh due to the treatment of fake doctors. Which included Rajendra Prasad Shukla, the first assembly Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Assembly.

The family of Rajendra Prasad Shukla had alleged him of negligence in treatment. Shukla’s son Pradeep Shukla said that in 2006, Dr. Narendra John was posted at Apollo Hospital in Bilaspur. He also had many cases of negligence in treatment. Whose complaint was also made. Questions were also raised on how Dr. Narendra was appointed.

Investigation revealed that the Apollo Hospital management appointed Dr. Narendra John Cam on the basis of fake degrees and cured many patients by calling him London return. In which many patients died due to negligence in treatment. A case has been registered under Section 420,465,466,471,304 and 34 of the IPC after the complaint of Dr. Pradeep Shukla, son of former Assembly Speaker Rajendra Prasad Shukla. Apollo hospital management has also been accused in the FIR. Police is also investigating the role of Apollo Hospital management.

Health department issued notice and sought information

Bilaspur CMHO Dr. Pramod Tiwari had already issued a notice to Apollo Hospital, based on the allegations made by the son of the former Assembly Speaker after the Bilaspur connection of the fake doctor surfaced. In the notice, other information including verification of degrees has been sought at the time of appointment of fake doctors from the hospital. Information was also sought in the notice that what action did the hospital management take on the fake doctor responsible after the death of the patients. In this case, along with the FIR, the investigation of the Health Department is also going on continuously.
