Akanksha Singh of Bhojpur has brought glory to her district and family by securing 301st rank in the Civil Services Examination 2025 of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Akanksha Singh is a resident of Khopira village of Pawana police station area of ​​Arrah district and is the granddaughter of Brahmeshwar Mukhiya, the chief of Ranveer Sena.

Let us tell you that UPSC released the results of Civil Services Examination on March 6, in which Akanksha’s success became a topic of discussion. The special thing is that Akanksha told her inspiration to her grandfather Brahmeshwar Mukhiya, who was murdered in the year 2012.

‘Grandfather’s struggle became a source of inspiration’

After her success, Akanksha Singh said that since childhood she used to ask questions about her grandfather. She said that ever since she regained consciousness, she had been asking her family where her grandfather was, but she never got a straight answer. Later, when she grew up, she came to know that her grandfather remained in jail for a long time and kept struggling for the society. Akanksha said that due to her grandfather’s struggle, her family went back 10-20 years, but the same struggle became a source of inspiration for her. She said that even today she takes inspiration to move forward only by remembering her grandfather.

Gave credit for success to parents and family

Akanksha Singh gave credit for her achievement to her parents, family members and teachers. He told that to pass a difficult examination like UPSC, he studied for 10 to 12 hours daily. According to him, success in this examination is not achieved only by studies, but consistency, patience and self-confidence are also equally important. He said that instead of being afraid of failure, one should learn from it and move forward. Akanksha told that she was not successful in her first attempt, but she did not give up and prepared better by working on her weaknesses. The result of that is that he got this success in the second attempt itself.

Who was Brahmeshwar Mukhiya?

Actually, Akanksha Singh’s grandfather Brahmeshwar Mukhiya was a resident of Khopira village in Bhojpur district of Bihar and he is known as the founder of Ranveer Sena. Ranveer Sena was formed under his leadership in 1994 during the conflict between Naxalite organizations and big farmers in Bihar in the 1990s. This private army was considered important in the politics of caste conflict in Bihar at that time and it also had many encounters with Naxalite organizations. Due to these struggles, Brahmeshwar Mukhiya remained in jail for a long time. After being released from jail in 2011, he was shot dead in 2012. Now his granddaughter Akanksha Singh has created a new identity by achieving success in UPSC.
