Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar has joined JDU. There are definitely big leaders in the party, but the biggest question is how much Nishant will be able to handle his father’s political legacy. Be it the party’s young MLAs or workers, they have faith in Nishant. They had been demanding for a long time that Nishant should come. His arrival will save the party. Now that he has joined JDU, there are not one or two but five challenges that he will have to face. Understand this.

1) From the beginning, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did the politics of targeting the extremely backward vote bank. This was the reason that as soon as he separated from Lalu Yadav in 1994, in 1995 he contested the elections single-handedly from Samata Party. Seven seats were captured within a year and in 2000 that number increased to 37. The main reason for this was that the votes of non-Yadav backward and extremely backward people kept going in Nitish’s favor. In such a situation, it will be a big challenge for Nishant Kumar that there should be no division among the core voters of JDU.

2) After becoming the Chief Minister in 2005, Nitish Kumar placed special focus on women empowerment. This was the reason why women votes kept going in Nitish’s favor in every election. He implemented many types of schemes for women voters. Took big decisions like liquor ban. In such a situation, Nishant will also have to focus more and more on the schemes related to women by staying in the government.

3) On the other hand, Nishant will have to win the trust of all the big leaders, small leaders and workers of JDU so that Nishant can have a distinct identity in the upcoming 2030 Bihar Assembly elections. They will have to do special work on this. Will have to go among the public. We will have to win their trust.

4) After Nitish Kumar goes to Rajya Sabha, there is talk that BJP will be the Chief Minister. Well, whatever happens in the new government and whatever responsibility Nishant gets, he will need to remain fully active in politics. On one hand, there will be need of hard work for oneself and on the other hand, what one will do for the party will also be interesting to see.

5) The biggest thing is that the way voters trusted Nitish Kumar, they should also trust Nishant. Because Nitish Kumar has a clean image. For son Nishant, on one hand there is a party and on the other hand there is the responsibility of carrying forward the work done by his father. For this, they should spread publicity, hold meetings, that is, they will have to bring before the public that Nishant is just like his father.
