According to CODE Sports, Hazlewood may miss the first two matches as he is recovering from injury. It was told in the report that it does not seem possible for the Kangaroo bowler to play any match before April 11.
The report quoted a source as saying, “Not much has changed since last week. Approval is yet to be received from the physio. Rehab is ongoing. Both Hazlewood and Cummins will not be able to reach on time for the first few matches. However, they are expected to participate later in the tournament. Everything depends on getting the approval. Once the approval is received, they will leave for India.”

In the last i.e. 2025 season, Hazlewood was third in the list of bowlers taking the most wickets in the tournament. Bowling in 12 innings of 12 matches, he took 22 wickets at an average of 17.54, in which the best was 4/33. His economy was 8.77.
Hazlewood’s IPL career
Talking about Hazlewood’s IPL career, till now he has played 39 matches. Bowling in 39 innings of these matches, he took 57 wickets at an average of 20.98, in which the best was 4/25. Whereas the economy was 8.27.
