IPL 2026 has not even started yet and players are still getting injured. There is doubt over the playing of many big players, while some famous players have already been ruled out of the season. From Kolkata Knight Riders to Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals too, they might be worried. Especially the news of continuous injuries to fast bowlers has surprised everyone.

Harshit Rana will not be able to play for Kolkata Knight Riders, who has taken a total of 34 wickets in the last 2 seasons. KKR has suffered a big blow due to his injury. He was injured in the warm-up match of the T20 World Cup against South Africa. Whereas fast bowler Nathan Ellis has been ruled out of IPL 2026 due to hamstring injury. His injury has dealt a big blow to Chennai Super Kings.
Sam Curran was to play for Rajasthan Royals this year, but is out due to groin injury. Jack Edwards was about to make his IPL debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad, but due to a leg injury, he will have to wait for his debut.
Pat Cummins will not be able to be a part of the initial matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Due to injury, he also had to miss the T20 World Cup 2026. Mitchell Starc, Lockie Ferguson, Matthew Short, Ishan Malinga and Atharva Ankolekar will not be able to debut for Mumbai Indians this time.
